I'm Tarick Foteh, (pronounced taw-rik fo-tay.) I'm a former advertising art director and creative director. I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX in 1999 with degrees in art and advertising and soon began to work for the big agency JWT.
I'm originally from Houston, TX, but my career took me to St. Louis, MO, and Chicago, IL. After a few years in the business, and hiring photographers for several photo shoots that left me knowing I could do better, I left the day-to-day routine of office life in a Downtown Chicago skyscraper for something that I was never educated in, but felt that I was absolutely meant to do. This is the one thing that I have never really tried at. I just do it. So, here I am.
With almost no experience and no formal training, I moved back to my home town of Houston and decided to become a commercial photographer. Within 3 years, I was shooting still and motion images for clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Marriott, Intercontinental Hotels, Coors Light, Schindler Elevator, BAE Systems, The Department of Veteran Affairs, Tigé Boats, Ikea, Hilton, Fuddrucker’s, Harry Winston, Bonpoint, Gabanelli Accordions, and many more.
I still reside in Houston, and my work frequently takes me nationwide to shoot portraits, products, interiors, and much more for my diverse group of clients.
Thanks so much for visiting, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. Thanks again!
